Behind the scenes of
Love, Loud & True
Hello there - my name is Esther; I am a Somerset-based celebrant and founder of Love, Loud & True.
I live in the South West with my wife and our two rescue cats, Baggy and McCoy. Alongside my job as a celebrant, I work for a beautiful Somerset family estate and wedding venue, from which I have picked up lots of tips and tricks! Away from work, I am a passionate musician, book worm, home cook and gardener-not-so-extraordinaire! I’m always interested in hearing about people’s taste in music as, though I’m sure we must have at least one favourite song or band in common, I’m always up for expanding my listening library!
My decision to train as a celebrant was born from the desire to create meaningful and authentic spaces where people from all walks of life can step into the next chapter of their life with a truly unique celebration of their story. With the ability to combine my flair for creativity, love of public speaking and interest in people, working as a celebrant offers me something I can throw myself into that plays to all my strengths!
Love, Loud & True came to fruition whilst planning my own wedding. Joanna and I really wanted to have a fully personalised, meaningful and true celebration of our partnership with all our quirks. We were lucky enough to have a celebrant-led ceremony which was incredibly emotional, joyous, and the absolute highlight of our day (other than getting to have a photo with my first true love: Barnabus the bear, pictured right!).
Having a ceremony which accurately reflected our relationship was very important to us, and I’m sure it is to you too!
I hope that with me, you can find the sense of fun, inclusivity and visibility that you’ve been looking for. Whether you have organised a ceremony or special event before, or you’re looking for this kind of service for the first time, I’d love to hear from you and have a chat!
